I am a professional counsellor, a member of the BACP. I work with individuals, couples and groups in a safe and confidential environment in two locations in Somerset Wells, Somerset and Shepton Mallet, Somerset.

Coming into counselling for the first time often seems scary because it is like venturing into the unknown, you do not know what will happen, or maybe you do not think that your problems are big enough, especially when compared to others.  In my practice I know your problems are significant to you, that is all that matters .  I aim to ensure that it is as warm, non-judgemental and accepting an experience for you as possible.

Whilst I work with many different issues my particular specialism is working with adults who have, at any stage of their life, been subject to forms of bullying from inside or outside of their family circle.  This includes working with issues around confidence, self esteem, anger, stress and, it may sound strange, bereavement and grief - the act of letting go is often traumatic in its own right.
